CO-FOUNDER, WANDERLANDS
Explorer of Wild Places | Devoted Scholar of Soil & Story

Sofia Rovirosa is, by her own cheerful admission, an outdoorsy wine-nerd –
a seeker of windswept landscapes, forgotten trails, and the quiet magic of nature. Wanderlands is the thread that weaves together the chapters of her life: a childhood spent under the vast, cinematic skies of New Mexico, an education steeped in literature, and an insatiable curiosity about the relationship between land and taste.
Her journey has unfolded like a never-ending map, leading her through the high deserts of Arizona and New Mexico,
the sun-drenched shores of the US Virgin Islands, the untamed wilderness of Alaska, and the rolling vineyards of Northern California.
It was among the vines that she first encountered the concept of terroir — the poetic notion that a place, its climate, and its soil could be distilled into something as ephemeral yet profound as a glass of wine.

But wine was only the beginning.
Inspired to translate this sense of somewhereness into something even more tangible, she turned to her family’s estate-grown pecans, a crop deeply rooted in the land she loves. With the precision of a vintner and the soul of a storyteller, she set out to capture not just flavor, but the essence of time and place.
Her mission?
To share this taste of the land — a bottled memory, a fleeting season, a whisper of the earth itself — with you.
